The Europa Hotel is visited by a member of our staff at least once a month, The visit  is always done in the morning and without any appointment. We tend to sit among the customers and have  breakfast and chat with them regarding their stay, comfort etc. Most of them are repeat customers, many of them tourists and some of them coming for business to the Islington Exhibition Center in Highbury. So far every customer has been very pleased with the Europa and it's staff.

We like the Europa Hotel for several reasons, the Hotel is situated in a residential quiet street full of listed buildings and because it doesn't benefit from passing trade, it offers  very competitive rates. The Europa Hotel is a three star listed with London tourist board as bed and breakfast/Hotel. Other Hotels who are only 2 stars charge more and sometimes up to 20 percent in some area of north London.

The Hotel has a lovely Garden and a house reception and a dining area overlooking the garden, as you may know most dining areas in central London are in the basement

The Europa team consists of Vassos and Dora (Managers/Owners). Managers handle all checking and check outs, all of them very friendly, in the evening and up to 10 pm, Mr Major handles the reception and if you have nothing to do , you can go downstairs and have a chat with him, he will tell you his life story starting with the day he was born all the way till today, make sure you bring a pillow with you, he will be more than happy to make you a cup of coffee if you don't want to make one in your room..

The Europa Hotel is very popular and even when business is very slow, the Hotel is FULL, we highly recommend it, best value for money, just be aware that it is in zone 2 near Tufnell park a good 7 minutes walk, can be a bit of a problem if you have lots of luggage, if it is the case, you may consider taking a taxi from station to the Hotel when you arrive on the first day.
